I had actually seen this elsewhere on the web when someone sent it to me. Apparently when they investigated the accident the driver of the car had just sent a text a second or two prior to impact so they feel he was distracted and drifted into the oncoming semi.

Um, does anyone here REALLY think an SUV, in a head-on with a F big truck, would have made the difference? I've driven smartcars and even considered buying one (before they made it un-smart). In THIS particular accident, a Suburban may only have spared her being sliced in half. she'd most likely been killed, in that case too.
