Re: Cambodia - Young Monk Commits Suicide Via Self-immolation
When I was a kid, I got burned on my finger when I touched some hot kitchen appliance. It quickly developed into a painful blister, and I did not enjoy the overall experience. At all. As a result of much igneous unpleasantness at the time, I, for one, learned heretofore from that formative experience—which is definitely not what can be said about the unfortunate protagonist in this post. Any regrets, as his lungs were filling up with hot smoke and gases—dying in the throes of unimaginable pain, while still fully conscious? That is the burning question. That is why, kids, you never play with matches. |
