Cambodia - Foreigner Death Mix
1. On the night of 6th January 2017 in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), 76 year old M.D.W. passed away. 'M', an American national, had been living in Cambodia since 2009. His Cambodian girlfriend, 33 year old N.C., said that on the morning of his death, 'M' had been very weak. She phone for an ambulance, which took him to the hospital. He passed away that night from a brain haemorrhage.      2. On 14th August 2016 in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), 48 year old K.N. died. 'K', a Russian national, had dined out for his lunch with his Cambodian girlfriend. A short while later, he went to the beach for a swim. His girlfriend noticed that 'K' hadn't come up to the surface; he had drowned.   3. On 31st December 2016 in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), 76 year old G.C.L. passed away. Some sources say that 'G', an American national, had suffered a heart attack a couple of weeks before his death. Others state that he died from lung cancer.      4. On the morning of 20th January 2017 in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), 29 year old N.T. was found dead. 'N', a Russian national, had been renting a room at a guesthouse since 27th September 2016. She was due to vacate the room on 18th January 2017. She was seen that afternoon, but never checked out. 2 days later, the manager decided to check what was going on. Upon reaching 'N's room, he was hit with a stench. He unlocked the room + found 'N's decomposing body on the floor. She had died from a heart attack.

Thank you. Cambodia always seem to give 'heart attack' as the cause of death for foreigners. They don't do autopsies in Cambodia, so I think that they just use 'heart attack' for any death that doesn't have an obvious cause.

When I used to post Cambodian stuff, I always felt that they used 'heart attack' as an alternative to 'suspected drug use'/heart failure.  |

It's just a result of decomposition. Likely due to the warm temps speeding the process up. That's about as technical as I can get but I'm sure others can explain further, if needed. Nice set, Simone.
