there is a helmet under the bus close to her squashed head... prob an adult sized one that she had on her little head and it slipped off. but still a helmet is not going to save her at that point

Did I miss something? Why did they arrest the bus driver? He was trying to avoid hitting another vehicle and didn't know those people were back there.
