Schizophrenia is a horrible disease I know several people who are afflicted with it. Devistating disease and alot of them do commit suicide. I dated a guy that had it ,and he was so screwed up ,he turned to alcohol and drugs to self medicate. He was also a cutter and tried to hurt himself as much as he could.  |

Give him a star for effort. He was determined to take himself out and he did. Was there no better options? Jumping off of a building, gunshot, overdose or something other than a big ass knife to the head.  |

Here, here. Takes one to know one and I know them all. Mental illness is a harsh bitch kitty; sometimes things get so bad you'll do anything for relief. Evidently, you'll even stab yourself repeatedly in the head to get away. |
