Most people think it's the same thing, but in being with someone in the medical field i do know the difference. Schizophrenia is a condition in which a person will see other people that aren't really there. kind of like a very persuasive, imaginary friend. Multiple personality disorder is more like advanced bi-polar disorder. The person will be either be "high on life" seeming. What the hell are you on about? Personality disorder is nothing to do with Bi-polar, Bi-polar is an affective disorder. Also people with Schizophrenia are not always violent. And they do not always just have visual hallucinations. I hope your 'medical someone' doesn't actually practice, as they're fucking useless if so.
I'm with the opinion this person was murdered, I've seen some pretty extreme suicide attempts in my clinical career but nothing like this.

Unless you have experienced the pain of mental illness, you cannot judge them. They live in constant pain and inadequacy. Suicide is the only thing that they believe will give them peace.
