For people that don't know. Schizophrenia should not be confused with multiple personality disorder. Most people think it's the same thing, but in being with someone in the medical field i do know the difference. Schizophrenia is a condition in which a person will see other people that aren't really there. kind of like a very persuasive, imaginary friend. Multiple personality disorder is more like advanced bi-polar disorder. The person will be either be "high on life" seeming. Or they will have another side that will be either depressed, or extremely manic in a violent way. The depression side of this person will more than likely not commit suicide because it would take too much effort (and if you've ever been depressed, you know that you don't feel like doing much of anything), on the other hand the manic side doesn't care and would do it without thinking twice, because their adrenaline is pumping wildly.
