Re: Brutal Shark Attacks
For a short story; on pic 6 (and probably 4 too) it's a south african girl name Belinda who has been bitten about 3 times by a bull shark while she was surfing; it's a friend who saved her life; he put his thumb into the femoral artery to stop the bleeding... her leg was amputated below the hip. On pics 3 and 5; it's Rodney Fox. He was attacked by a great white shark in 1963 while he was spear fishing in Aldinga beach, Australia. He release himself from the jaws by placing his thumb in the eye of the shark. After the first attack, he pratically get drowned because the shark come back and bite his catch (attached to his belt), but I presume the rope was cut and release him. He need 462 stitches. After the attack, Rodney began to interrest himself in the great white shark ecology and found that pratically nothing was known about it.... Today, he's an expert |
