The old Beetle is one of the worst constructed cars ever built when it comes to collisions, the people referring to "clown cars" these are usually Mini Minors, not VW's. The Mini is super strong and a great performer compared to a beetle.

The only pre modern car worse then a beetle is a 2CV Citroen, but of course that's French and they can't build anything :).

I think I have learned that it's not a good idea to drive a small car....So I will just stick with my SUV
