Bridge in San Jose Costa Rica Preferred by Suicidal Women Registers One More.
The woman who launched herself from the Saprissa bridge was identified by her own friends as Laura Barquero, she had been hospitalized at the National Psychiatric Hospital, where she was reportedly discharged. Barquero, who was a neighbor of San Luis de Santo Domingo, Heredia, walked on the bridge and before the sight of several drivers who passed the fence jumped and fell from 80 meters to fall in a playón of the Virilla river. He lay face down, very close to a huge rock, and suffered a skull fracture with brain mass exposure and multiple limb fractures, while a tattoo on the upper right part of the back had a French legend. Barboza was a teacher of that foreign language and a friend said in November last year she tried to commit suicide by taking a cocktail of pills due to a depression she could not overcome. The aide, who preferred not to identify herself, said that despite being declared at that medical center with the syndrome of borderline personality disorder (BPD) put her to practice yoga and was discharged. "I blame the hospital because my friend had been several times and they did not do enough, they said it was a crisis. I shared with her three weeks, she was a good person, a French teacher, but a personal problem led her to make that fatal decision, "he said. BPD is characterized primarily by emotional instability, extremely polarized thinking, and chaotic interpersonal relationships. The overall profile of the disorder also typically includes a generalized instability of mood, self-image, and behavior. Barquero's body was rescued by cruzrojistas, who took more than an hour to extract it, while agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency were in charge of the investigations.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
