A man was arrested this Friday (24) on suspicion of killing another man with blows from a pickaxe to the head.

According to the Military Police, the team was called out during the early hours of the morning to respond to a report of a body discovery. At the scene, officers found the body with a completely crushed skull.

During the search for the suspect, police officers entered a house near the location where the body was found and located the victim's documents and cell phone. The murder weapon, found bearing bloodstains, was also seized.
