An unidentified man was fatally electrocuted whilst trying to steal wiring at a school in the West Zone of Manaus, Amazonas state.

According to reports, a woman who worked at the institution arrived in the early hours of the morning. When she switched on the power box, she heard the sound of a short circuit, followed by a blackout. It was at that moment that she came across the dead man at the scene.

Paramedics were called, but all they could do was confirm the man's death.
