30 year old Wanda Solis was discovered hanging from the balcony of her apartment in Cedros de Montes de Oca.

Material from CR is tough to find and detail is often sketchy. My thanks to two other posters (from here and elsewhere) who helped me pin down correct ages and such.

It was mentioned in at least one thread that she suffered with depression but almost no other details were divulged.

Based on my amateur eye, she has not been hanging very long. I see no signs of livor mortis in the images. There is no blood visible on her shirt or around her mouth, despite the fact that her tongue is obviously protruding and bitten. Typically the longer a body hangs, the more blood will issue from the nose and mouth. It also appears that her shorts are still wet at the crotch, though urine can take several hours to dry in denim so that may not say much about TOD. Further, it's a fairly wide view and I suspect that her body was seen and reported rather quickly.

In any case, here are some half decent pics from an area that rarely supplies such material. The following ante-mortem images are taken from the last five years of social media, with the first one being the most recent, posted only a week before her suicide.

In most of her pictures she looks like she is so sad. There's something so haunting about that first photo, which was taken a week before she hanged herself. I bet she already decided to end her life. In some Countries it's tough to get help for mental health issues. It's either frowned upon, or people can't afford it. RIP

Her eyes are closed in the postmortem images. What you are thinking are her lower lashes are actually her upper lashes.
