Brazil - Woman's 'friend' Removes Her Baby from Her Womb
In October 2019, 26 year old R.G. announced her pregnancy, though in January, she suffered a miscarriage. As her family were so excited about the new baby, 'R' didn't tell anyone what had happened. Instead, she lied to everyone, claiming that her pregnancy was still progressing.    Fast forward to 27th August 2020, 'R's longtime friend, 24 year old F.G.M. was heavily pregnant, with a due date of 22nd September. 'R' called 'F' + invited her to her baby shower at an abandoned pottery in the Porto Galera neighbourhood (Brazil).     When they arrived, 'R' waited for the right moment, grabbed a brick + smashed it into the back of 'F's head. The mother-to-be, who was 36 weeks pregnanct, fell to the ground + 'R' continued bashing her head with a brick. Then, 'R' pulled out a scalpel + sliced open 'F's abdomen + removed the baby. 'R' left the scene with the baby + sent a message to a 'healthcare professional', stating that she had just given birth in the street. She made her way to the hospital, but as soon as the doctors saw the baby, alarm bells started ringing; there were deep gashes to the baby's back. 'R' was examined + it was evident that she had not just given birth.   **WOUNDED BABY WARNING**  The police were called + 'R' confessed what she had done. The police stated: "The woman demonstrated a lot of coldness. No regret or emotion. She just wanted to have a baby. I've never seen anything like it. She is extremely cold. Didn't even care about the child's health, didn't ask. He told the crime in detail. No feeling, spoke normally". 'R' stated that her 44 year old partner did not know about the miscarriage + had lied to him that she was still pregnant. She had been planning the crime since June + had even had other pregnant women in the running to being her victim. Despite what 'R' stated, her husband has been taken in for questioning. On the morning of the 28th, 'F's body was found by her mother. She was inconsolable as was 'F's husband.             'F's baby is in the hospital + doing well.   Meanwhile, the baby girl's mother's veiling was on the morning of the 29th, with the burial taking place at 11am.

Wow - crazy story!!! It's also incredible that a psycho with no medical background or training can yank a baby out of its mother a month before the due date and the baby ends up surviving.  |
