The gangs get too strong and organized like that though--from the Pigs-eye view. Just kind of recently they split the gangs up in the northern Brazilian prisons, and after only a couple months the two main gangs called a truce, and had already turned on the guards, cooperating with each other to make demands for more privileges. Separate prisons, though, seems to work in El Salvador. They have separate prisons, one for 18th Street & another for MS-13. |

Wow. How about the Brazilian prison system put all the gangs in separate units. Fuck it, whole prisons holding only members of one gang.
