He definitely seems psychopathic, like an "organized" rather than a "disorganized" killer, as a detective might put it. That's a horrible way for that poor family to be treated. Reminds me of Ramirez, "the Night Stalker." Seems like most of us are complicated, but every now and then, there really are some genuinely bad (and genuinely good) people out there. This is a real "bad guy" in every sense. That he happens to also look the part is probably coincidence ultimately.
