I wouldn't really say that myself but it looks like bodies just dry out over there which would have a preservative effect. The one below looks quite content to be dead. I had to look twice to see it wasn't a thumbs-up. The last in September seems mildly inconvenienced and the woman below just looks vacant. Well the lights are off. I linger on some just wondering how they went. |

The hands (+ feet) of the deceased are often bound to keep them in place, instead of hanging freely/flopping about.
