According to reports, the victim was driving a bulldozer when he hit a hornet's nest. As the bulldozer did not have a closed protective cab, the victim ended up being attacked.

In a moment of desperation and in an attempt to escape the attack, he jumped out of the moving vehicle and ended up being crushed.

I've seen bald faced hornets (which aren't actually hornets but in the yellow jacket family) completely envelope the cab and engine housing of a caterpillar D8.

It did have a full cab so the operator was fine. The rest of us fucks on the ground watching him push trees and brush out weren't so lucky
