Brandy Norwood's 2006 Freeway Crash That Killed Awatef Aboudihaj
A chain-reaction crash occurred on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles on December 30, 2006, when singer Brandy Norwood's Land Rover hit the back of a Honda in slowing traffic at about 65 mph. The Honda driver, 38-year-old mother of two Awatef Aboudihaj, died. The CHP recommended a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge, but prosecutors did not file charges in December 2007, citing insufficient evidence. Investigators reported no alcohol, drugs, or evidence of phone use. Aboudihaj's children later received a 600,000-dollar settlement, while her husband reached a separate settlement. brandy didnt die she killed the guy that was in the car she ran into.
