Look at the random statue of the granny holding the fruit basket. It's still in one piece I wonder if someone put it there as a prop to add a nice touch to the photo.

'Great' pictures, tragic event. I asume these photos were taken after the collapse of the towers? And I have a 2nd question: can you see (remains) of the WTC on photo one? Otherwise said; was the WTC located at that position? Thanks upfront for your responds/answer. Just for me to see things in perspective + I'm curious about the position of the massive steel bar shown on picture 3,4&5 Cheers from the Netherlands |

I love listening to the disaster teams that were deployed to NY, NY for recovery and clean up. It is absolutely amazing little of a body is left after something like this. Thanks for sharing! |

These were taken after the impact and before the collapses -- the body parts were from the aircraft. You can see the WTC in the background of some of the shots. I believe this may have been on the far side of the North Tower after the first plane hit, but I'm not 100% certain. A friend of mine lived across the street from the towers and he had to step over body parts to get out of his building.
