Here is my two cents. Wound is as described. I'm guessing 12 guage slug. It was a contact wound. I'm think it was fatal.

It was fatal, no question there, but wouldn't a .12 gauge slug have went all the way through ?

There is exit wounds there man the photo's suck though.

To give an idea of what Gatagato and I were saying, these pictures show a 5.56 standard Nato round from a M-16 that entered on the iner thigh and exited on the outer thigh. A M-16 round is still very leathal, but just a little smaller than an AK-47 round of 7.62 X39mm.

Both will fuck you up real good too.
