The body farm is a study of how fast, what eats, and what should I expect of a bodies decomposition from time of death. Body's are buried, laid out in the open or stuck in a car trunk and continuously monitored, photo wise and forensic wise for look, and vermin and bug predation over periods of different times of year. This study has been a real bump for forensics.
