In Zona 25 of Guatemala City, the body of a decapitated man, wrapped in a blanket, was found by drivers travelling along the route to Santa Lucía Los Ocotes. At least one of the man's hands was found to be mostly severed.

During a search of the area, the victim's head was also located on a grassy area nearby, along with several severed fingers.

A sheet was found at the scene with a written message containing the phrase "WINTER 3 800", whose meaning is unknown.
