With photoshop etc. being as good as it is now, and effects and makeup getting better all the time, I think it's just natural to be suspicious of things that are generally shocking or "too-good-to-be-true" in nature. Its like pictures of ghosts or bigfoot sightings.. the skeptics in all of us need concrete proof. Pictures are so easy to tamper with, they're often not enough..
