I myself ride. I'm a ridah. I own a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 and this bike goes a 180 mph stock off the showroom floor, and I have gone that fast...haha. On the freeway late at night with absolutely no possibility that a car will cause my demise.
There's a lot of reasons as to why those guys ended up the way they did. It could have very well been that the driver of the car did turn in front of the biker leaving him little to no reaction time. Doesn't matter if the driver was at fault. When I ride it's like ZEN for me. I am very much in tune with what is happening and occurring around me at ALL times. I believe that each and very car on the road has the full potential to kill me instantly. You must have that mindset to become an accomplished rider. Or you end up like all these fucking gore pics on this site.
Sport bikes are awesome machines capable of mind boggling speeds with a small turn of the wrist. On my 1000cc bike I'm capable of hitting 130 mph within seconds, easily, effortlessly. With that much power it's very easy for newbies to get into a lethal situation that they can't get out of very quickly.
I've always ridden with some basic rules that have always kept the rubber side down for me and they work well.
- I never get too cocky even though I've been on bikes since I was a kid. All it takes is for one dumb fuck on four wheels to fuck my day up because he/her can't drive or see the fuckin road right.
- Do I like to go fast, really fucking fast? Hell yes I do, that's why I ride a sport bike. But I never go faster than what I might need to brake for. If I'm going a 130, 150 or 170 mph, will I have enough time to brake for what I need to?
- I never allow myself to get boxed in with a bunch of cars. I always accelerate out of the pack, or intentionally lag behind the pack until the right moment to burst by them.
- I never assume that any fucking car see's me or will give me the right of way. Especially going through intersections. Cars are notorious for turning in front of bikes. I drop two gears when I go through intersections and will be ready to blow by any dense mother fucker.
- A car can be a deadly weapon. If you fuck with me on the road I will fuck with you and then be gone before you even know what the fuck hit you.
- If you're a cop and you're reading this and you see me speeding on the highways of Arizona, leave it alone and call it a day or night. Save your gas and your time.
- I am respectful of residential areas and school zones. I'm also not a redlight racer. The most dangerous areas to fuck around are on busy city streets. Too much potential for cars to pull out of driveways anyway.
Lastly, always wear a helmet and keep the rubber side down!
no matter what your experience level is...you cannot predict all elements on the road including animals. tracks are made to increase you chances of survival in an event of a wreck. i use to ride myself i had a 06 gsx-r1000 and never rode that fast in public traffic...only in abandoned neighborhoods and tracks. its selfish putting lives at risk for a thrill.

loved riding but gave it up because too many of my dumbass friends died with your same mentality that were great riders and some amateur racers died on the streets
