Looks like foam is buried in the vic’s nostrils. This is exceptionally common during drug overdoses, this particular texture of foam that almost seems to resemble cotton swabs.

They are common in strangulation and drowning deaths too, except that in THOSE cases, the froth/foam tends to ooze from the mouth.

I think its cotton and its common to see it in noses ears and mouths in other countries to stop the decomposition liquids from spilling out. But I could be mistaken:)
