Bears Eat Fish...and Sometimes People :]
If any of you have seen this guy, you knew he was crazy to begin with. was an American bear enthusiast, environmentalist, amateur naturalist and documentary film maker. He lived among the coastal grizzly bears of Katmai National Park in Alaska, USA, for approximately 13 seasons. At the end of his 13th season in the park in 2003, he and his girlfriend Amie Huguenard were killed and partially devoured by one or possibly two grizzly bears. There was a video camara inside of the tent they set up beside a nearby salmon hole that the grizzly bears came to often in the season. It appeared that Amie had turned it on to record Timmy talking to a wild bear, when she heard him being attacked. The lens cap was still on, but 6 minutes of audio was recorded of the brutal attack. His colleague and friend took rights to the tape, and vowed never to release it.. although those who have heard this so called "holy grail" of death audio, said he can be heard screaming in agony as a bear growls loudly in the backround. Amie is heard screaming frantically, telling Timothy to play dead.. he is heard letting out blood curdling screams, yelling "He's killing me! He's killing me!" at the top of his lungs, and pleading for Amie to save herself. Sadly, both of them were mauled and consumed. Oddly enough. Amie's body was found partially consumed over 200 yards away from Timothy. (If you see the footage of him on Animal Planet, he is fucking nuts.. ranting about Bear equality and even talking to the bears, naming them, wrestling with them. In the footage tapes you can see him losing his mind.. weird shit, for sure)  ·  · |

Ive seen this photo a bunch of other times, but it always has a different title. "eaten by starving dogs", "zookeeper killed and eaten by lion", "man dragged out of pirhana infested waters", "man eaten by bear". Which is correct???

I got this from a coroner's site online, and the description read "Timothy Treadwell Autopsy Report" with a picture of him before and after. Who is to say that it is the real one, but it seemed like a pretty legit site  |

I thought TT's body was mostly ravaged by the bear. I thought they only found his head, part of his ribcage, and his wrist with the watch still attatched? A bear was eating the other half of his ribcage when the scene was discovered. I could be wrong though.  |

That dead picture isn't of him. That was around before he even died and it doesn't match the reports of how his body was found at all.

Shit, I've just spent nearly 2 hours researching this picture  You're right he and his g/f were found in many pieces. The account of their deaths given with these pic's is also pretty accurate. The picture however is of a 26 year old student who was killed in Alaska in June 2000 by a grizzly. I ploughed through several Russian and Chinese new agencies who all largely report the same circumstances about that picture. Talk about becoming obcessed |
