Not sure. As I said i never noticed it untill we hung around at the ER and assisted working the arrest. Normally we wouldnt remove pants or undergarments unless it was nessisary. First time I saw it I was very suprised and puzzled... i wanted to ask a doc but felt it wouldnt have been recieved well.

As an EMT, I will tell you that an erection after trauma is a telltale way of knowing that the person is paralyzed. Also common in electrocutions. Does not mean by any means that the person enjoyed it.
