Andrew Cunanan Death Photos: American Spree Killer
Andrew Cunanan was an American killer who became the subject of a nationwide manhunt after murdering five men during a three-month period in 1997. His crimes began in Minnesota and eventually stretched through Illinois, New Jersey, and Florida. Cunanan knew some of his victims personally, while others appear to have been chosen as he traveled across the country. By June 1997, the FBI had placed him on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, but he continued avoiding capture. The killing spree began on April 27, 1997, with the murder of Jeffrey Trail, a former naval officer and friend of Cunanan. Trail was killed in Minneapolis and his body was found inside the apartment of David Madson, another man Cunanan knew. Madson disappeared around the same time and was later found dead near a lake in Minnesota. Cunanan then traveled to Chicago, where wealthy real estate developer Lee Miglin was murdered in his home. Several days later, Cunanan killed William Reese, a cemetery caretaker in New Jersey, apparently so he could steal Reese's pickup truck and continue traveling. Cunanan's most famous victim was fashion designer Gianni Versace. On the morning of July 15, 1997, Versace was returning to his mansion on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach after walking to a nearby café. Cunanan approached him outside the home and shot him twice before fleeing. Investigators soon found the stolen red pickup truck Cunanan had been using in a nearby parking garage, linking him directly to the scene. Versace's murder brought enormous national attention to a manhunt that had already been underway for weeks. For eight more days, police searched Miami Beach for Cunanan. On July 23, a caretaker checking a houseboat heard a gunshot and contacted authorities. Police surrounded the boat, and after entering they found Cunanan dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The weapon found with him was the same pistol connected to several of the murders. His death ended the manhunt, but it also left investigators without a clear explanation for why he had carried out the killings. No suicide note was found, and Cunanan's exact motive has never been established. Cunanan's case became especially well known because of the speed with which he moved across the country and because his final victim was one of the world's most famous fashion designers. Although the FBI described him as a serial killer, his crimes are also sometimes classified as a spree because all five murders occurred within a relatively short period. His killing spree remains one of the most widely remembered American manhunts of the 1990s.  ·  ·

Filipino.... One of the respected and rich families known there.... I think andrew is a variation and rumored to be a fagula... not sure though... google him.

he's an american citizen though and turned killer... went on a killspree and killed 5 ... one of those he killed was the famous fashion designer Gianni Versace... I supposed Versace outfits cost more now that its supply will dwindle....

Is it just me, or do the pictures appear to be of two separate people? The first pic shows short hair & no shirt. The second pic shows longer hair & a t-shirt.  |
