Re: American Man, 31, Found Hanging From a Tree in Cambodia
Last pic, TWIC is Transportation Worker ID Card. A common use is for entry to US port areas. The partial document at the top of that pic is a DD 214. His is from the Navy. You can make out the name of a ship as his last duty station, USS Topeka, a submarine. He could well be familiar with SE Asia from Navy time. Possibly was working on a ship to get back there. Maybe he returned for the underage sex & screwed with the wrong kid. |

Tying one's hands to commit suicide may be unusual, but certainly not unheard of. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19237850 http://www.ansa.it/english/news/2014...b8cb8fdeb.html |

Re: American Man, 31, Found Hanging From a Tree in Cambodia
Are you outside the why but not the how which was the question, which I'm also interested to know. I saw someone say put the noose on, tied hands, then jumped. Makes sense to me. But foul play is also an even better argument- a tourist w over 6 grand in a country where the locals are literally dirt poor... |
