African Herbalists, Ritualists & Dismembered Victims
Many parts of Nigeria, the Congo, Zambia, etc. still believe in the power of magic and it's a thriving business for herbalists, ritualists, cultists, body-part traffickers, etc. as long as you don't get caught: and many of them don't. Various body parts are sought after by herbalists/ritualists: a woman's head here, a toddler's genitals there, female breasts, the heart of a young person, kidneys from anyone, adult male or female genitals, or a mix of 3 or 4 together, the list goes on and on. These herbalists, as they're usually referred to, prey on the poor who will do their nasty deeds for a few dollars and the rich who will pay 10 x's more for a powder or potion that they think will protect them, make them richer, love, you know the drill. The perpetrators of the crimes of murdering others to harvest body parts for blood money are frequently caught. Many of them are young, impoverished, maybe 'not all there', or otherwise easy to manipulate with talk of earning money. The herbalists, however, are often shady people known by alias' or as local witch doctors/ritualists that are able to keep their true identity a secret. They are feared by many. It's a growing market that several African states are having great difficulty in dealing with. The following image set will be the first in a 'mega or compilation' thread that I'll be putting together on this subject. This women, aged 30-40, was found naked and beheaded at the side of a road. Investigators determined that she was the victim of ritualists/cultists (often the term given to those who do the actual killing). Her head was not found nor where the killers. Interesting post  . I have also read about Muti murders. There is a documentary about how Scotland Yard investigated the torso of a young boy found floating in the Thames. They traced something in his gut to an African country and discovered Muti practices. It is a good documentary. I have meaning to go in and watch it and screen shot some if the pictures in the movie. They are pretty gruesome.
