Looks like deliberate to me. What's with the bare prongs? Maybe she wasn't so alone. There is more to the story than what is written. She could of easily removed the cord from herself. And looks like it was removed after she died. Already she has livor mortis. So she has been dead quite awhile.

Nah. Livor starts anywhere from 20 minutes to a mere three hours after death. She's nowhere near maximum lividity (judging by the sketchy photos, anyway) and occurs anywhere from 6-12 hours...probably the lesser side of that scale since she was so small.

I guess your definition of 'quite a while' may differ from mine, but I would be absolutely amazed if she was dead more than 3 or 4 hours in these photos.
