So it has a sheet metal case inside a wood form embedded in concrete and the top was poured seperately then mortered in place. The case might be copper or lead. Great technology for 700 years ago. Also better embalming fluid than I ever knew they had back then. It had to be sealed or how would it of kept what ever solution preserved the body? And if not sealed then why doesn't the water leach out any preservative? And what type of perservative did they have back then?
