It was a hard 4 more years after that, thinking about it a lot, I wanted a real clear head, not a response type decision, but really calculated - because when you have to think about killing someone... But, now I am a conceal carry holder, and won't hesitate if the situation arises and my or someone else's life might be in the balance.

I'm glad your sisters made it through the hold up without being physically harmed. No possessions are worth your life.

The problem with that theory is that plenty of thieves don't think leaving a witness is worth your life either.
