2 Young Soldiers Shot Dead, Guerrero
The young soldier identified as Reynaldo Jaimes Rios, 20, originally from the Herons, and passenger Gilberto Salgado Estrada, 20, originally from Iguala, were attacked yesterday afternoon by an armed, unknown gunman. The bodies were inside the vehicle owned by Reynaldo, a gray Ford license plates HFB-7467. Elements of Municipal Preventive Police, the State Ministerial Police and the Mexican Army, rushed to the scene. Among them were the companions of the young soldiers who took care to recognize and confirm their identity. The prosecutor gave indication that the bodies were lifted by the Forensic Medical Service personnel being transferred to facilities located in the city of Iguala. Official reports have confirmed that Gilberto was shot four times, while teammate Reynaldo had six bullets in the body. So far no arrests.  ·  · |
