2 Men Executed

On the afternoon of Monday two men were shot dead in the vicinity of the town of Tepetixtla, in the municipality of Coyuca de Benítez, in the Costa Grande region.

The case was notified by the commissioner to emergency number 911 at 03:00 in the afternoon, authorities said.

The two men were executed next to a house, near the dirt road that leads to that town, which is located about 20 minutes from this municipal seat.

Police and military elements moved to the place where they found the bodies of two unknown men, between 35 and 40 years old.

One of them wore sports shorts in sky blue and navy colors, a cream-colored Polo shirt, without shoes, with a dark complexion, his face disfigured with bullets and with impacts of a firearm on other parts of his body.

The other wore a black shirt with beach prints, gray checked gabardine bermuda shorts, transparent plastic huaraches, light skin, which had bullets in the stomach, neck and both arms.

Experts from the General State Prosecutor's Office (FGE), were in charge of carrying out the respective proceedings and in the place they found eleven 7.62 × 39 mm caliber percussion shells for AK-47 rifle, better known as "Cuerno de Chivo", as well as a caliber cap .22 mm.

The bodies were lifted and taken to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) of Acapulco, where they remained as strangers.
