Most people who do this don't realize there is a science to hanging. Proper rope, stretch the rope, and then figure how you want to die. Proper rope with proper knot with proper placement with a proper knot... and a proper drop... it breaks the neck and lights-out quickly. Otherwise, lingering, painful death. The difference is choice, otherwise ignorance. |

A neck break isn't even required for a quick lights out. Proper compression of the carotid artery cuts off blood flow to the brain and produces unconsciousness within less than a minute.

Not very isolated, I would surmise. There's very little visible livor on her legs and the urine on her shorts and on the ground under her feet is not at all dried, so the photos were taken not particularly long after she died. She must have been found quite quickly and the response team arrived in a timely fashion, as well. Just my guess, though.
