I totally agree with the spirit of your comments, but the reason this region (Central + South America) is so wrought with these videos is there is literally nothing else to do. No college to attend, no great economy to be a part of, unless its farming or mixing drugs.
All of these governments are 95% either Cartel or Militia-controlled, or both. The 5% that isn't is just corrupt politicians trying to not get killed. There is no economy except farming Cocaine & Heroine.

You can be poor, get shitty medical care, squirt out one random baby after another.... or you can join a cartel & get 3-4 years of gold bling & fast cars.
