Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, to be quite frank. Unless the photos are copywritten and watermarked for ownership and/or the poster was also the photographer and they expressly forbade reposting, permission is irrelevant and need not be sought. We don't require it, the law doesn't require it...why are you making a fuss about this?

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
What fuss? If the photos were only shown to a private group then surely permission would be needed to be given to allow them to be shown elsewhere. I'm glad to be able to see them, it's rare to get such good photos from the US. But the family may have only wanted a select few people to see them. I'm not the only one who picked up on that.

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
Awful lot of fucking judgement there and for what purpose? THINK OF THE FUCKING CHILDREN. My balls. Where do you think 99% of the images posted on this site come from, genius? FUCKING FACEBOOK, WHATSAPP, AND TWITTER. Without social media, we don't get most of the photos for the site. Without the photos of death and gore, this place is nothing but a useless chatroom. If you enjoy the photos on this site but piss and moan about them being on social media, then your level of cognitive dissonance is alarming. Oh but wait, wait....wait.... THINK OF THE CHILDREN! |

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
My point was that it doesn't matter. This is a reality news site, not a victim/survivor support group. Unless the family is banging on the door pressing a lawsuit (which is highly unlikely since they are unwatermarked and were posted on social media) then this site doesn't care. So no reason to even toss the implication of impropriety at a poster. If the Moderation Staff has a problem with the origins of a photo, we'll address it. |

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
I haven't said anything of the sort but if you want to vent at me, feel free. The photos were released to the aunt, she chose to post them in a group that was probably private + only for a select audience. I'm not sure on the laws of posting death photos from the US that haven't been released to the public or if it's ok if the family of the victim say you can post them. Like I said, I'm glad to get the opportunity to see them as many others probably are, if you think I'm 'making a fuss' from just one little sentence, so be it.

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
I don't use fb, all I know is that its a very public yet social file sharing tool where everyone knows each others business and causes aggro addiction depression rows fights wars and even deaths while consuming hours upon hours of peoples lives before you get to the good stuff. Oh, and pigs can search your info freely at their own will. No thanks

Re: 19 Year Old Commits Suicide.
I think you got your boyfriends jiz in your eyes pal, I never said think of the kids. It was merely a reference to the potential of certain images posted on social media. Climb down of your high horse and go wipe that mess off your face so you can read better, then ask your mighty genius self how this sight ever survived before the recent years. I presume it wasn't so social back then huh? Wise ass |
