18-Year-Old Girl Found Dead at the Beach in Mati City, Davao Oriental
PHILIPPINES - On January 1, 2023, 18-year-old K.C.C. was found dead at the beach in Barangay Dahican, Mati City, Davao Oriental. She was last seen alive when she performed karaoke at her uncle's house on New Year's Eve. Based on a medical report, there is no use of force on the victim and there is no fatal wound on it, although she suffered injuries on her face, knees and sides, perhaps after being hit by huge rocks from big waves hitting the shores. It also certified that she died of cardiopulmonary arrest secondary to hypoxia, secondary to drowning. However, her father suspected that her boyfriend is said to be the suspect behind her death based on their conversation on Messenger, which is written in Cebuano, as you can see on photos F. She was buried on January 10. You can barely see her dead face on her live funeral mass video, which is 1 hour and 49 minutes long and too large to upload it, here.
