Evhm.. I am not sure of where people gets their information. People who cuts themselves could be because they need attention, or just for the fun. But there are people with problems, with anxiety, and they are trying to get rid of that feeling using different methods. Some people are screaming at their parents, others do abuse people, and some people are just cutting themselves, and in this case, it seems like that. It is called dislocating and it is one of the many defencemechanisms that we use.

It doesn't have to mean that she is trying to kill herself. Perhaps she is mentaly ill and after the cuts have been made she belives that pictures could be a way of screaming for help.

Where did you get this pictures anyway?
Was it on a community, self-help-site, self-destructive-site, her private webpage, her blog?

These pics are all fake. She has done a very good job at getting you all to cringe at the horror. Compare the tell-tale pics of her arm with the shark tattoo. At least two new cuts, one long cut up and down the arm, and one across the arm above the shark's snout, do not show the other cut - the cuts are healed or disappeared. She probably works (or works with somebody) in movie special effects.
