A nasty physical altercation erupted in a Hsinchu City neighborhood after a male resident complained to a sanitation worker about unacceptable recycling practices.

The sturdy sanitation worker shoved him, causing him to crash through the elevator door and fall into the shaft.

He became stuck above the elevator and was subsequently sent from the first floor to the fourth, where he remained trapped for nearly two hours.

Because the sanitation worker was a wanted criminal, he fled after the assault. Police located him and arrested him at 7 p.m. that same evening.
