A 70-year-old man and his friend were victims of a robbery at a commercial establishment in Brazil.

According to information, the assailant invaded the establishment and took one of the customers, a friend of the shop owner, hostage, holding a knife to his neck and threatening him with death.

Upon realizing the situation, the desperate merchant took another knife and entered into a fight with the bandit.

"Let him go, let him go..." - The elderly man asked the assailant in an attempt to save his client friend and drive away the aggressor.

After knocking down the merchant with a folding chair on the sidewalk of the establishment, the individual returns with the intention of taking the money. The elderly person, still armed with the knife, tries once again to make the assailant give up the action, who repeats several times wanting only the money.

Even though he had the opportunity to flee, the customer and friend remained at the scene to help disperse the assailant from the establishment.

The robber takes the money and flees the scene. There is no information on injuries, or the state of health of those involved, but it can be seen from the images that the merchant suffered head injuries.

Military Police were triggered and arrived at the scene minutes later. Authorities are now investigating the case and seeking to identify and capture the person responsible for the robbery.
