Were they trying to steal the car but then decided to shoot her on the way out but then couldn't figure out how to drive the car what the fuck was that all about

Looks like it doesn't it? I think they were definitely trying to steal the car and she was insisting on getting something out of it... maybe? The guy with the gun was trigger happy and the others balked and left the car, running to the car that was waiting for them should something go wrong.  |

Just found a news report. Yeah, they were trying to steal her car. Apparently they couldn't drive it, so they fled with just her purse.
