Woman Shot in Las Vegas Bank Shooting Accused's Mother
The man police say shot a woman at a bank in Las Vegas and attempted to run from officers has been hit with 17 charges in connection to Wednesday's incident, including 5 counts of attempted murder. In his first court appearance this morning, 32-year-old William Cass Jackson was accused by the state of taking his mother to a bank at gunpoint, making her withdraw $2,000 and then shooting her multiple times as she tried to run away. Jackson was granted $300,000 bail. If he posts it, he must have high-level electronic monitoring. He is due back in court on Jan. 21. |
