Woman Robbed of Her Purse While Putting Gasoline in Her Car at Chevron Station
Quote:
Thursday, July 2nd. On a Miami chevron gas station surveillance tape, a man in a white car pulls up, walks over to a woman, studies her and then ducks down as she looks his way while she is getting gas.
He then opens her car door and takes her purse and book bag before taking off.
Dana Ariton, who grew up in Romania, told that she didn't even know she had been robbed until she got home.
"This was very bad and I am shocked," Ariton said. "I've been in this country for 17 years and it has never happened this way.
I came home to take my belongings out and I opened the door and I saw nothing there.
I closed the door and then opened the door.
I can't believe that some people are born and grow up and instead of going to school and having an education and doing better things for society, they do this to people.
"She said she thought she had locked her doors.
"They are automatic and your press the button and they should close," Ariton said.
