Woman Rejects Man She Met on Tinder and is Stabbed 150 Times

The crime took place in the car park of the José Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon, and the victim suffered injuries to the "head, torso, face and upper limbs".

According to the Lisbon Regional Attorney General's Office, the crime was motivated after the victim showed "no interest in continuing" talking to the suspect, whom she met on the Tinder app.

In a statement released this Friday, the prosecutor's office indicates that "the events occurred on May 28, 2025, late in the afternoon, in the parking lot, located at the José Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon".

According to the note, the suspect and the victim "met through the Tinder app" and "exchanged messages". However, "when the victim expressed no interest in continuing to contact the defendant, he began following her to and from her workplace and home".

On the day of the crime, the "defendant waited for the victim" and took a kitchen knife from his backpack when he saw the victim, inflicting "around 150 blows" on him. The victim suffered injuries to the "head, torso, face and upper limbs".

"Once she fell to the ground, the victim continued to be attacked by the defendant, with kicks and blows to the head," explained the prosecution.

After being brought to the first judicial interrogation, indicted for the practice of attempted homicide, the suspect was subject to the coercive measure of preventive detention.
