Woman Pushed in Front of Metro

There was an attempted murder in Brussels in the Rogier metro station, yesterday evening, shortly after 7:40 p.m. A woman was pushed onto the metro tracks as a metro arrived at the station.

The driver fortunately managed to carry out an emergency braking and he was thus able to avoid the worst.

The victim is a woman and she was taken to hospital in shock along with the metro driver. A person ended up on the tracks. The service was interrupted for half an hour before being restored. The police are investigating.

The suspect, a young man, managed to flee before being arrested later on. In the images, we see him in a t-shirt with his hands on the straps of his backpack waiting for the arrival of a metro to push the victim in the back just then; which then falls head first onto the subway tracks.

On the 13th of Januari 2022, a young man with the French nationality pushed a woman in front of an oncoming metro in the city of Brussels in Belgium.
The two people were not related in any way and the attacker is under arest.
He is know with the police and they are now looking for a motive.
The victim is a 55 year old woman.
The attacker ran away but was caught very shortly after the attack.
The metro was able to stop just in time and nobody got seriously hurt.
