DENVER A woman with Multiple Sclerosis was kicked by a robber who had taken her purse as she tried to pay for a car wash.

Denver Police say it happened at the Conoco station at Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue just before 5 p.m.

A black female, possibly in her mid teens, grabbed the woman's purse as she was preparing to pull out her wallet, according to police.

Police say the robber was in a car at a gas pump when the victim pulled up.

Surveillance video shows she got out and followed the victim into the store after seeing that the woman had difficulty walking.

While in the store, she walked up behind the victim and grabbed the purse and then ran back outside and got in a silver four-door Ford.

The teen was wearing dark pants and a light colored hooded sweatshirt.

The victim followed the teen back to the Ford, which was parked at one of the pumps. A black man in his 40s was pumping gas into the car.

The victim tried to get her purse back by leaning into the vehicle and police say that is when the teen kicked the woman in the shoulders.

Before the victim could step away, the man had gotten in the car and started to speed away, dragging the woman for a short distance before she fell to the ground.

It seems to me that anyone caught preying on a person who
is either disabled or elderly needs to have their judgement
doubled or tripled. What's this world comming to?
