Too bad this was in the days before tazers. Stupid bitch rushes a cop with a knife, I think the cops showed appropriate restraint for not shooting her, and the only victim was the stupid bitch who was suicidal in the first place. I love it how cop haters call the cop that tackled her an asshole. Personally if it was me in his place I'd shoot her and ask questions later. What do idiots expect to happen when they attack a cop with a knife. A pat on the back and a cookie? The moment she got out of that car wielding a knife she became a possible killer. And in my book it's better to prevent a murder than to witness one or even worse be the victim. |

Cop did better than I would have. My first instinct once she swung at me would have been to shoot. Also oddly enough, I've gained more respect for cops since joining DR. Seeing vids like the Dinkheller cam and others where cops didn't immediately go for their gun showed me not all cops are dicks. Even this cops's priority was simply to subdue her. He didn't have a tazer and had she been shot my fellow liberals would have by and large crucified the cop in question for it. I say he did fine. It's the stupid bitch's own fault she got stabbed. |
